I see two problems, the first being that people don’t talk about it. I never had this talk with anyone, but I knew watching my mother work and take care of the household, that I didn’t want to be a mother until I could give time to both.

The real problem is that people are working too much. I would venture to say that it is impossible for any two people to happily work 100 hours a week combined, and parent their children and manage a household.
